HPA Basketball Camp is for Boys and Girls 1st Grade – 8th Grade. Players will be drilled daily on shooting, ball handling, passing, rebounding, and defensive footwork in a realistic, competitive playing environment. Trainees will compete in 1 on 1, 2 on 2, and 3 on 3 before playing 5 on 5. <\/p>\n
The Fundamentals and Skills Session will be broken down into six categories:
\n1. Ball handling – improve hand speed, strength, coordination, and good ball control
\n2. Dribbling – improve dribbling skills and moving with the ball
\n3. Passing \u2013 develop skills and techniques to be a better passer
\n4. Shooting & Moves – improve shooting technique and develop moves off of dribble
\n5. Offensive Concepts – set up proper v cuts, getting open without the ball & setting proper screens
\n6. Defensive Concepts – play defense on and off the ball
